Push made for artificial turf sports field at brand new North Vancouver high school

Although North Vancouver boasts a state-of-the-art, $65.7-million new high school, it has fallen short in one key area – the lack of an outdoor sports field for its teams to play. Parents say this puts the school at a disadvantage with other schools in the municipality and are pressing both the local school and the city to install an artificial turf field at the site. A board official, however, says there is no budget for a field, and such a project also relies on provincial funding.
